Job summary

ECLOUDVALLEY TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Solution Architect (Cloud & AI) to lead customer engagements and design practical AI solutions on AWS.

You will collaborate with sales to identify AI use cases, develop architectures, and guide delivery teams to implement the proposed solutions. The role requires deep generative AI and ML knowledge, strong cloud architecture skills, and the ability to present strong business value to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution architecture, presales, consulting, AI/ML, software development, or cloud engineering.
• Customer-facing technical or presales experience.
• Practical experience designing AI/ML/generative AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search.
• Experience with Bedrock, SageMaker or similar AI platforms.
• Ability to prepare proposals, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect (Cloud & AI) to lead customer engagements and design practical AI solutions on AWS. You will work closely with sales teams to understand customer challenges, identify suitable AI use cases, and develop solutions that deliver clear business value. You will also support delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are implemented successfully.

The ideal candidate combines strong generative AI and machine learning knowledge with a good understanding of cloud architecture and customer-facing solution design.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with sales teams to engage customers, understand their business challenges, and identify AI opportunities.

• Lead technical discovery sessions and translate customer requirements into solution designs.

• Design generative AI and machine learning solutions such as enterprise assistants, intelligent search, document processing, and workflow automation.

• Recommend suitable approaches using large language models, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, data platforms, and AWS AI services.

• Develop solution architectures using Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, and other relevant AWS services.

• Conduct technical workshops, demonstrations, and proofs of concept to validate proposed solutions.

• Prepare solution proposals, architecture diagrams, implementation scope, effort estimates, and technical presentations.

• Present solutions and business value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Work with sales, engineering, delivery teams, and technology partners to support opportunities from discovery through closure.

• Identify technical risks, security requirements, dependencies, and cost considerations during solution design.

• Ensure a smooth transition from presales to delivery through clear documentation and knowledge transfer.

• Provide architectural guidance and technical support during project implementation when required.

• Stay updated on AI, cloud, and industry developments and apply relevant insights to customer engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in solution architecture, technical presales, consulting, AI/ML, software development, or cloud engineering.

• Experience in a customer-facing technical or presales role.

• Practical experience designing AI, machine learning, or generative AI solutions.

• Strong understanding of large language models, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and AI application architecture.

• Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, or similar AI platforms.

• Good understanding of APIs, databases, data pipelines, security, and application integration.

• Working knowledge of cloud architecture, including compute, storage, networking, identity, security, monitoring, scalability, and cost optimization.

• Experience designing solutions on AWS or another major cloud platform.

• Ability to prepare and present solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.

• Strong problem-solving, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
