Job Summary
The Solutions & Integration Manager leads the technical evaluation, architecture design, and end-to-end integration of digital insurance solutions with strategic partners. Serving as the primary technical solution lead across business units, insurance carriers, fintech/banking platforms, and technology vendors, this role translates strategic business goals into scalable, secure, and future-ready digital integration frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Integration & Technical Feasibility
- Conduct comprehensive technical and architectural feasibility assessments for prospective digital partnerships (banks, e-wallets, e-commerce, super-apps, and ecosystem platforms).
- Evaluate partner technical capabilities, API readiness, authentication mechanisms, and infrastructure compatibility.
- Analyze business cases, implementation complexity, delivery risks, and cost structures to recommend optimal technical approaches.
- Define standardized partner integration playbooks, reusable API specs, and modular onboarding frameworks to accelerate partner integration timelines.
End-to-end Technical Solution & Journey Architecture
- Gather, refine, and translate complex business requirements into detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), API contract specifications, and system flow diagrams.
- Map end-to-end customer journeys, operational processes, and backend exception-handling workflows across multi-party ecosystems.
- Architect robust integration flows for real-time policy issuance, premium calculation, billing/payment collection, mid-term policy servicing, and automated claims initiation.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise IT, Security, and Cloud Architecture teams to align partner solution designs with corporate security, data privacy, and governance standards.
Execution, Delivery & Ecosystem Management
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery from design and API sandbox testing to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-launch verification.
- Define technical scope, integration milestones, dependency matrices, and success criteria for complex multi-party programs.
- Direct external software vendors, Insurtech providers, and third-party developers throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Act as the technical bridge aligning business, IT, compliance, legal, and partner engineering teams.
- Monitor platform performance, system uptime, API response latencies, error logs, and customer drop-off points to continuously optimize conversion rates and platform health.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and lead technical enhancements to automate manual offline fallbacks.
- Benchmark emerging Insurtech trends, microservices architectures, embedded insurance technologies, event-driven integrations, and open API standards.
