Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Solar Technician to support installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar PV systems. The role focuses on safe, efficient work aligned with project specs and safety standards across multiple sites.

The candidate should have a technical degree in Electrical/ Renewable Energy fields and at least 3 years of hands-on PV experience, including wiring, layout understanding, and use of testing tools like multimeters.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Solar Technician or similar role.
Experience in PV installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Ability to read electrical and PV system diagrams.

Responsibilities

Assist in installing solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, batteries, and cables.
Perform wiring according to approved plans and specs.
Ensure proper alignment and secure mounting of solar equipment.
Test systems after installation to verify operation.
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of PV systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar system issues.
Check components for defects and replace as needed.
Monitor performance and report anomalies.
