Job summary

IGNIS is expanding its solar PV capability in Manila, seeking a Solar PV Engineer to support project development and engineering within the Philippine market.

The role reports to the Business Development Director, contributing to site analysis, layout design, and permit-related documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and timely project progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer in Renewable Energy.
• Knowledge of permitting process for renewable power plants in the Philippines.
• Software requirements: AutoCAD, PVSyst, PVDesign.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new sites to see if there are any red flags or points of consideration.
• Prepare preliminary layouts and SLDs.
• Support local development team preparing any technical document required for permits.
• Support engineering team with local regulations.

Due to this rapid growth, we are now looking for a Solar PV Engineer for our office in Manila.

Reporting to the Business Development Director and integrated in the engineering team, the PV Engineer will provide local support for the projects developed in the Philippines.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Analyze new sites to see if there are any red flags or points of consideration.

Prepare preliminary layouts and SLDs.

Support local development team preparing any technical document required for permits.

Support engineering team with local regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer in the Renewable Energy Industry, with extensive experience in utility scale projects.

Knowledge of permitting process for renewable power plants in the Philippines.

Software requirements: AutoCAD, PVSyst, PVDesign.
