Job summary

IGNIS, a global energy company, is seeking a Solar PV Engineer for our Manila office. You will report to the Business Development Director and join the engineering team to provide local support for Philippines projects.

Your role includes site analysis, capacity estimation, layout and SLD preparation, energy production estimates, and regulatory support to expedite local permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer in Renewable Energy.
• Experience with permitting renewable power plants in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new sites for red flags and points of consideration.
• Estimate site capacity and energy production.
• Prepare preliminary layouts and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Support local permitting and regulatory documentation.
• Perform site visits and support engineering team with local regulations.

Due to this rapid growth, we are now looking for a Solar PV Engineer for our office in Manila.

Reporting to the Business Development Director and integrated in the engineering team, the PV Engineer will provide local support for the projects developed in the Philippines.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Analyze new sites to see if there are any red flags or points of consideration.
• Estimate site capacity.
• Prepare preliminary layouts and SLDs.
• Estimate energy production.
• Support local development team preparing any technical document required for permits.
• Perform site visits.
• Support engineering team with local regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer in the Renewable Energy Industry, with extensive experience in utility scale projects.
• Knowledge of permitting process for renewable power plants in the Philippines.
• Software requirements: AutoCAD, PVSyst, PVDesign.
