Job summary

MSpectrum Inc. is seeking an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Engineer to oversee day-to-day solar project operations, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards.

The role involves monitoring equipment, analyzing trends, and coordinating with site teams to optimize plant output. The ideal candidate has electrical engineering training, 2–3 years in plant operations or renewable energy, and a solid grasp of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree mandatory or equivalent.
• Licensed/registered electrical engineer preferred.
• 2–3 years in plant operations, renewable energy, or related technical work.
• Experience with solar power systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operation of solar project facilities for safe, reliable performance.
• Monitors performance data and alarms to identify issues and optimize output.
• Coordinates with site teams, contractors and vendors for maintenance work.
• Maintains records, reports, and SOPs; supports audits and reviews.
