Job summary

AFRY seeks a Solar and Battery Site Manager to lead construction, installation, and commissioning of solar PV and BESS projects in the Philippines and APAC. You will manage daily site operations, supervise crews, and ensure compliance with drawings and schedules.

The role requires a strong background in solar/BESS construction, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractor coordination, with ability to travel to project sites and coordinate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in solar PV or power plant construction.
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is a strong advantage.
• Familiar with QA/QC, HSE, and site construction practices.
• Willingness to be based at project site in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site solar PV and battery storage construction.
• Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
• Ensure activities follow drawings, specs, and project plans.
• Coordinate installation of solar modules, inverters, transformers, and BESS.
• Enforce HSE rules, conduct toolbox talks, and investigate incidents.
• Coordinate with engineers, client reps, and authorities; manage daily reports.
• Track materials, monitor subcontractor performance, and control costs.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of systems.
