Job summary

AFRY in the Philippines seeks a Junior Project Manager for Solar and Battery projects in Manila. You will assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating solar PV and battery energy storage initiatives, working with clients, contractors, and site teams.

A strong foundation in engineering or construction management and 1–3 years of relevant experience are preferred. Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6 and Excel is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, planning, or scheduling.
• Experience with solar PV and/or battery energy storage projects is highly preferred.
• Exposure to renewable energy construction projects in the Philippines is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules for solar PV and battery farm projects.
• Support planning activities using MS Project / Primavera P6 / Excel.
• Track project progress against baseline schedules and highlight delays or risks.
• Support look-ahead planning and weekly/monthly progress updates.
• Project Coordination: Support communication with the Client, Contractors, Vendors, and Site teams.
• Facilitate project meetings, preparing agendas, and issuing minutes.
• Tracking and monitoring of the project deliverables internally and externally.
• Reporting & Monitoring: Prepare regular project progress reports, dashboards, and planning summaries.
• Monitor key milestones, deliverables, and interfaces between solar and BESS scopes; assist in tracking variations, risks, and mitigation actions.
• HSE & Quality Support: Support implementation of HSE and quality requirements on site; assist in ensuring project activities comply with local regulations and client standards.
