Job summary

• Graduate of any 4 or 5-year IT-related courses (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).
• With at least 2 years experience in testing.
• Knowledge of test automation tools and scripting is a plus.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Six Sigma, PMP certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Willing to learn Nihongo.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform basic QA/testing functions including test plan creation and test report creation.
• Implement test procedures, perform problem isolation, and report results.
• May be assigned as Team Leader as needed and participate with project team.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Works under close supervision; this position does the following basic engineering functions for specific portion of the project such as:
   • Test Procedure Implementation
   • Problem Isolation
   • Problem Report Creation
   • Test Plan Creation
   • Test Report Creation
   • May be assigned as Team Leader
2. Performs basic quality assurance functions
3. Performs assigned activities in conformance to integrated management system requirements
4. Performs other activities which may be required as need arises provided he is qualified for these activities
