Job summary

The Software Tester conducts software tests and quality control activities to make sure that software products are up to quality assurance standards. The Software Tester knows the quality required for the product and identifies and applies the appropriate tests and controls.

Responsibilities

1. Perform all levels of testing, including integration, system and regression.
2. Detect, record and track all software issues that cause software to produce incorrect or unexpected results or behave in unintended ways.
3. Report, endorse and elevate software issues. Investigate and follow up fixes and resolutions.
4. Collect and study user reports. Document and provide analysis and recommendation.
5. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

1. College graduate in any IT-related course.
2. Preferably with 1 year work experience in software development, software testing, software quality control, or Electronic Health Record systems.
3. Knowledge in HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, or JQuery.
4. Training in SQL, scripting, or Agile Scrum methodology.
