Questronix Corporation in Manila is seeking a software engineer to implement specific software initiatives and projects. You will design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations with internal and third-party applications.

You will develop API consumption solutions, implement AI-powered features including generative AI and chatbots, and integrate AI services/LLMs into business apps through APIs and SDKs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and databases.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks and test-driven development.
• Agile software development experience; relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Implement specific software initiatives and projects.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations with internal and third-party applications.
• Develop API consumption and integration solutions using authentication and security protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, API keys, and JWT.
• Design and implement AI-powered solutions, including generative AI, intelligent automation, and chatbots.
• Integrate AI services, LLMs, and AI platforms into business applications via APIs and SDKs.
• Ensure the implementation of software applications.
• Provide first-level support for incidents and support requests.
• Conduct proof of concept of software applications.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including system updates and patches.
• Develop data migration/interface processes and ensure timely project completion.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including system configurations, API documentation, user guides, and support procedures.
• Conduct case studies to determine required functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and partners to gather and deliver client requirements.

authentication and security protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, API keys, and JWT.

• Design and implement AI-powered solutions, including generative AI, intelligent

automation, and chatbots.

• Integrate AI services, large language models (LLMs), and AI platforms into

business applications through APIs and SDKs.

• Ensure the implementation of software applications.
• Provide first-level support for incidents and support requests
• Conduct proof of concept of software applications
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including system updates and patches.
• Develop and implement data migration and/or data interface processes.
• Ensure completion of projects in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations,

API documentation, user guides, and support procedures.

• Conduct case studies to determine the required functionalities.
• Capable to learn and implement basic hardware implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and technology partners to gather

and deliver client requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or

a related field.

• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and database technologies.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks, with

experience in software design and development using test-driven development (TDD) practices.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Relevant certifications in Database, API, AI, Security, Hybrid Cloud, Automation,

or Business Process Management are an advantage.

• Strong business understanding and analytical skills, with the ability to translate

business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, customer relations, and interpersonal

skills.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently with minimal

supervision.
