Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
Proven experience developing and maintaining enterprise web-based applications.
Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, REST API development and integration.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web-based applications.
Develop scalable backend services and web applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core/MVC.
Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and third-party applications.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise web-based applications. The role will be responsible for developing reliable and scalable solutions, integrating APIs, managing databases, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, REST APIs, and enterprise application development, preferably with exposure to HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web-based applications based on business and technical requirements.
Develop scalable backend services and web applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core/MVC.
Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and third-party applications.
Design and maintain SQL Server databases, including tables, stored procedures, queries, indexes, and other database objects.
Optimize application and database performance and troubleshoot technical issues affecting system reliability.
Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and appropriate software design patterns in application development.
Conduct unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and validation of developed features before deployment.
Investigate application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate corrective solutions.
Follow established SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
Use source code management and collaboration tools such as Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
Participate in system integration, deployment, and release activities.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, API documentation, and development-related records.
Apply secure coding and application security practices when developing and maintaining systems.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, project teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Contribute to HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and other enterprise business applications.
Support cloud-based application development, DevOps, and CI/CD automation initiatives.
Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Explore and appropriately utilize AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and other AI coding assistants, to improve development productivity and code quality.
Support data reporting, analytics, and system integrations as required.

Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of application security and secure development practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
