Job summary

Avaloq is expanding its Service Operations – Portfolio Management, Wealth Management & RM Suite team. You will develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications used by financial institutions, focusing on stability, performance, and reliability.

As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with business analysts, service managers, product teams, and delivery teams to enhance and support production solutions, ensuring smooth operations for clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar in banking/financial services.
• Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and cloud/containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-motivated with a learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable and efficient operation of PFM and RM Suite solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents, defects, and complex technical issues.
• Manage incidents and service requests end-to-end with impact analysis and fixes.
• Maintain and enhance applications to meet evolving requirements.
• Configure and deploy RM Suite in ACPR.
• Support onboarding of new banking services into delivery.
• Assist testing activities including UAT and integration tests.
• Contribute to product enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.
