Job summary

Avaloq Group is seeking a Software Engineer for the Portfolio Management, Wealth Management, and RM Suite domains. You will develop, maintain, and support critical applications, collaborating with analysts, service managers, and product teams to ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability for clients globally.

Responsibilities include incident resolution, deployment, testing support, and continuous improvement of solutions, with emphasis on collaboration and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer/Developer in banking or financial services.
• Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and software development practices.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Full professional fluency in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable operation of Portfolio Management, Wealth Management, and RM Suite solutions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and defects.
• Manage incidents and requests end-to-end with impact analysis and fixes.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to meet evolving requirements.
• Handle configuration and deployment of RM Suite in ACPR.
• Support onboarding of new banking services into service delivery.
• Assist testing activities including UAT and integration testing.
• Contribute to product improvements and automation initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
