Job summary

Avaloq in the Philippines invites a software professional to join the Credits & Risk team within AMS, focusing on bug fixing and small enhancements for SaaS clients. You will collaborate with the Team Lead, analysts and engineers to design and implement reliable software solutions.

You bring at least 3 years of development experience, solid SQL/PLSQL skills and a structured, autonomous approach. A hybrid work model and Avaloq's inclusive culture support your growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

3+ years of software development experience
Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
Bachelor's degree in CS or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Team Lead, BAs, and other Software Engineers
Write solution designs for new developments and have them reviewed with technical leads/architects
Participate in client workshops and support business analysts in requirements analysis
Design, develop and maintain well-thought-out solutions within the team’s scope
Improve and optimize existing functionalities
Develop and maintain automated tests and quality assurance
Take ownership and responsibility for your area of expertise
Work with an agile mindset, process, and Jira
