Job summary

Avaloq, headquartered in Switzerland, is expanding its global footprint and seeking software engineers for Securities Operations. The role focuses on PL/SQL and Avaloq Script modules for Securities Trading, Settlement, and related workflows within an agile, client-focused environment.

Work with a dynamic team across development centers, collaborate closely with leads, and contribute to automated tests and quality assurance while delivering high-quality software solutions for a European customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL, Oracle PL/SQL).
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or C++ is valuable.
• Ability to translate business needs into clean, high-quality code and designs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Team Lead, Product Owner, Business Analysts and other engineers.
• Write solution designs and have them reviewed by leads/architects.
• Participate in client workshops and assist in requirements analysis.
• Design, develop and maintain robust solutions within the team.
• Improve and optimize existing functionalities.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and ensure quality.
