Job summary

MicroSourcing in Eastwood, Quezon City is seeking a Software Engineer (C++) to modify and enhance Chromium-based code, delivering a secure remote browser solution in an onsite role. You will work with fellow developers, debug and optimize high‑quality C++ code, apply clean coding practices, and participate in an Agile team focused on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 or later) and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with Linux development tools, including Git, GDB, GCC/Clang, and Linux development environments.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting using Python or Bash.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience using unit testing frameworks such as GoogleTest.

Your Role

As a Software Engineer (C++), you will:

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 2–3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 or later) and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Hands‑on experience with Linux development tools, including Git, GDB, GCC/Clang, and Linux development environments.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting using Python or Bash.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with experience using unit testing frameworks such as GoogleTest.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience working with open‑source browsers such as Chromium or Firefox.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
• Experience working in Scrum or Agile software development environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross‑functional team.

Includes a 10% transportation allowance on top of your salary package.
