Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a C++ Developer in the Philippines to design, develop, and optimize high-performance software. You’ll work across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, run tests, and ensure system reliability in a flexible remote/hybrid/on-site setup.

The role emphasizes modern C++ practices, memory management, and collaboration with analysts, QA, product owners, and developers. A strong foundation in OOP and multithreading is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional C++ development experience.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with multithreading, memory management, and SQL.
• Proficiency with Git and source control.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication in a collaborative environment.

Your Role:

As a C++ Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications using C++.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in C++ software development.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience with modern C++ standards (C++11, C++14, C++17, or C++20).
• Familiarity with STL, Boost, and other C++ libraries.
• Experience developing applications in Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
