iSupport Worldwide in the Philippines is seeking a Software Developer I to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software across web, mobile, API, and database solutions.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, agile development, and a strong focus on performance, usability, and security. Proficiency in REST APIs, .NET, C#, Angular, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Git is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software development with at least 1 year developing REST APIs in C# / .NET Core.
• Demonstrated experience writing complex SQL queries using Joins, subqueries, indexes and functions.
• Expertise in .NET Core, Web Services/REST APIs and Git.
• Experience with Angular.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio/Code.
• Security-focused programming skills. OAuth2.0 preferred.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools is preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and detail orientation.

Job description

Position Objectives:

The Software Developer I role is to design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications. This includes configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle. The Software Developer I will also oversee system startups in a timely and accurate fashion and provide support to other departments where required. The Software Developer I will be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders and other members of the Software Development team to deliver against business requirements documents for various new and upgrade projects. The ability to work in an agile environment through development, testing, and delivery is critical to success in this role. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, attention to detail and quality focus, and foster a positive, open work environment. The Software Developer I will support business-critical applications and develop new capabilities within core systems as required by business-driven initiatives. Must be well versed in REST APIs, .NET, C#, .NET MAUI, Angular, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, Visual Studio, Git and AI-assisted software development tools and practices. The role requires a strong focus on applications performance, usability, maintainability, security, and data integrity across web, mobile, API, and database solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational Management Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications and integrations. Develop and maintain data interfaces and system integrations using REST API technologies. Analyze technical and business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions. Participate in project planning and advise project team of all options to deliver business requirements most effectively Plan and execute system tests and write complex code Form complete descriptions of all specifications required Suggest ideas for creating utilities and streamlining Generate development scripts in accordance with company's Release Management protocol Control data in accordance with the organization's security policies Prepare charts, tables, and logic diagrams needed in development analysis Process analysis and workflow design to build efficient technical solutions Program core system functions and capabilities (C# and database stored procedures) Responsible for the creation of reports Interact regularly with managers, developers and users to field queries and questions Use AI-assisted software development tools responsibly to support software analysis, development, testing, documentation, and productivity. Participate in the evaluation and implementation of AI-enabled capabilities and agents that may provide business value.

Strategy & Planning

Collaborate with analysts and designers in the development and initiation of new software programs and applications - Take an active role in cross-departmental projects when needed - Direct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Formal Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field or equivalent technical or trade business professional work experience required. Knowledge & Experience 3+ years of software development with at least 1 years developing REST APIs in C# / .NET Core Demonstrated experience writing complex SQL queries utilizing Joins, subqueries, indexes and functions - this is a requirement Knowledge in .NET technologies and development, including demonstrated expertise in .NET Core, Web Services/REST APIs and Git - this is a requirement Demonstrated expertise in Angular a requirement Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code Security-focused programming skills. Experience with OAuth2.0 preferred Experience using AI-assisted software development tools is preferred. Logical and analytical skills. Focus on quality and attention to detail Ability to multitask; be self-motivated and work as an active team member Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive and dynamic, with demonstrated initiative to lead projects with little direction Experience as a Software Developer in an Agile/Scrum environment a plus.
