Job summary

Discovery Capital Finance Corp. in the Philippines is seeking a Software Developer Associate to assist the Software Development Team in building, testing, debugging, and documenting web applications while undergoing supervised training.

You will develop and maintain features, support testing and debugging, and learn internal coding standards, version control practices, and development workflows while collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining assigned application features under supervision.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and documentation of system enhancements.
• Learn and apply internal coding standards, version control practices, and development workflows.
• Coordinate with team members on assigned tasks, updates, and implementation concerns.
• Participate in training, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities as assigned.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related course. Fresh graduates may apply.
• Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills

Skills, Abilities, and Proficiency Requirements
