Job summary

About the role

The Clinical Technology Analysis – Software Developer position requires business skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and occasionally modifying systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support application systems. It also develops small to medium sized in-house application. The programmer is expected to conduct system analysis, development and routine maintenance to keep systems current with changing technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with users to identify further improvements and current operating procedures to clarify program objectives

• Provide recommendations and coordinate with IT Senior Manager in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing web and desktop based systems

• Make recommendations on custom applications

• Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes

• Assist in troubleshooting software application issues

• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements

• Analyze data contained in the corporate database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions

• Provide major/minor programming for in-house IT systems

• Provide SQL administration in live and test environments

• Produce technical documentation for new and existing applications

Qualification
