Qualifications

• Ability to assist patients with financial concerns and refer to PCSO, DSWD, LGU, Office of the Congressman/Governor/Vice President for support.
• Ability to evaluate services provided to ensure that they are effective.
• Ability to refer disadvantaged patients to appropriate local government services for financial help.
• Ability to provide correct documents for patients submitted to DSWD offices.
• Ability to facilitate referral/guarantee letters for indigent patients seeking DSWD support.
• Ability to notify patients about feedback from DSWD on financial assistance requests.
• Ability to inform patients/relatives about released financial assistance for claims.

Responsibilities

• Identify people needing endorsement by admitting Department.
• Assess clients’ needs, strengths, and networks to determine goals.
• Develop plans to improve client well-being.
• Help clients adjust to illness-related changes and challenges.
• Encourage clients to apply for government assistance programs.
• Prepare reports including PCSO and DSWD accounts receivables and weekly collection reports.
• Coordinate with social workers and agencies (LGU, DSWD, PCSO, Office) for referrals.
• Follow up with clients and coordinate with nurses and doctors to monitor progress.
