Job summary

ALLIED SEARCH PTE. LTD. in the Philippines seeks a Social Work Assistant to support financial assistance processes and patient welfare within a reputable healthcare institution.

You will collaborate with Medical Social Workers, conduct home visits when required, document case information, orient new staff, and contribute to quality improvement projects to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma qualification in Social Work or equivalent field.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' eligibility for financial assistance programmes and support the evaluation of financial assistance applications.
• Guide patients through the application process for national financial assistance schemes and explain the available funding options.
• Assist Medical Social Workers in conducting case assessments and reviewing patients' needs.
• Collaborate with Medical Social Workers to carry out preliminary psychosocial assessments and provide case management support.
• Gather, organise, and maintain accurate case information and supporting documentation for assessments.
• Conduct home visits, where required, to evaluate patients' living environments and social circumstances.
• Provide information, guidance, and support to patients and their families on available community resources and support services.
• Mentor and provide orientation to newly onboarded Social Work Assistants.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental projects to enhance service delivery.
