SOCIAL SERVICE COORDINATOR

About the role
Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko Foundation is seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and ethical professional to serve as Social Service Coordinator and lead the Foundation’s core programs and services, together with its long-running public service television program. Applicants from Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Guidance Counseling, Community Development, Development Studies, and other relevant helping professions are encouraged to apply. Professional licensure within the applicant’s discipline is highly desirable.
This is a full-time, on-site, project-based role based in Quezon City. The position sits at the center of KKMK’s mission delivery, overseeing the execution of social service programs, full-cycle case management of beneficiaries, coordination with medical professionals and partner institutions, and documentation in accordance with ethical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
In addition to beneficiary-focused services, the role also supports the basic welfare and well-being of the KKMK team, particularly in relation to psychosocial support, and coordination when staff welfare concerns arise, in line with established policies.
The Foundation is actively working toward international standards in program delivery, case management, safeguarding, documentation, compliance, and reporting. This role plays a critical part in strengthening systems and processes while ensuring that services are delivered with compassion, professionalism, structure, accountability, and respect for beneficiary dignity.
What you’ll be doing
Program & services execution
- Implement and manage existing Foundation programs and services, including but not limited to:
- Medical assistance and treatment referrals
- Medical missions
- Psychosocial support programs (e.g., support groups for children with leukemia and their families)
- Other approved social service initiatives
- Ensure programs are executed in line with approved objectives, guidelines, and available resources
- Support continuous improvement of programs in line with evolving organizational standards
- Identify opportunities to improve programs, workflows, and service delivery, and contribute to the continuous development of KKKK’s operational systems and standards.
Case management & coordination
- Manage full cycles of client and beneficiary cases, from intake and assessment through referral, monitoring, and case closure
- Coordinate treatment referrals, follow-ups, and monitoring with hospitals, doctors, and partner institutions
- Maintain accurate, complete, confidential, and audit-ready case records in both physical and digital formats, ensuring documentation supports operational, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation for approvals, reporting, and audit purposes
TV program coordination
- Coordinate beneficiaries, doctors, and relevant parties for the Foundation’s public service television program
- Ensure ethical handling of cases featured on the program, including documentation, consent, and data privacy compliance
- Work closely with production and internal teams to coordinate beneficiaries while ensuring that professional ethics, safeguarding, informed consent, confidentiality, and beneficiary welfare are never compromised by production requirements.
Team welfare & coordination support
- Provide coordination and referral support related to staff welfare concerns, as appropriate
- Work with management to ensure staff welfare matters are addressed within professional and ethical boundaries
Compliance & standards
- Ensure compliance with:
- Professional ethics
- Data privacy and confidentiality requirements
- Internal policies and procedures
- Relevant government and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute to strengthening documentation systems, case management processes, safeguarding practices, operational workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives as KKKK progresses toward international best practice.

We’re looking for someone who brings both compassion and structure to their work, and who is committed to serving vulnerable communities with professionalism and integrity. Preferred qualifications include:
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Guidance Counseling, Community Development, Development Studies, or another closely related helping profession.
- Professional licensure within the applicant’s discipline is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in case management, program implementation, community services, psychosocial support, healthcare coordination, or related social service work.
- Ability to manage multiple active cases, programs, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent documentation, organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and other digital tools used for documentation, reporting, and collaboration.
- Strong ethical judgment, professional boundaries, confidentiality, and commitment to safeguarding beneficiaries.
- Ability to remain calm, objective, and professional while working in emotionally challenging situations.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of efficient systems and workflows.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues, volunteers, healthcare professionals, partner organizations, and government agencies.
- Comfortable working within a structured, policy-driven organization committed to accountability, continuous improvement, and international standards.
Work arrangement & compensation

- Employment type: Full-time, Project-based (ongoing operational role supporting the Foundation’s continuing programs and services)
- Salary range:₱20,000 – ₱25,000 per month
