Beyond editing, you'll take charge of caption writing, fit content natively to each platform, and turn out supporting marketing assets. The right person carries a premium, polished design sensibility and reads what makes beauty content convert.
Shape raw footage into high-performing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Put videos together with solid narrative structure and a hook that seizes attention within the first three seconds
Layer on captions, subtitles, text overlays, transitions, trending audio, and sound design that match brand style
Pen every caption and hook in the brand voice, fitted to each platform's audience
Recut and reformat content across platforms so each version reads native rather than recycled
Build and turn out marketing assets and creative materials in Figma to back campaigns and launches
Feed Amazon A+ content with product visuals and creative assets
Look after social media posting across every platform and hold a steady publishing rhythm
Track content performance across channels and report on views, engagement, retention, and reach
Call out top-performing content, trends, and formats, and advise on what to make more of
Hold raw footage, project files, and finished assets tidy and quick to retrieve
Team up with the brand manager on creative direction, priorities, and revisions
Proven track record shaping short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Proficiency in Figma — a required tool for design and asset production
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut for video editing
Solid video storytelling ability, with a history of hooks that halt the scroll in the first three seconds
Excellent copywriting for social captions and hooks, with the ability to write in a defined brand voice
Command of platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, durations, and native best practices
Ability to look after and post content across several social platforms
Comfortable putting AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to work in content workflows
Sharp aesthetic sense, with authentic, original design work and an eye for premium visual quality
Ability to read social media analytics and turn results into content decisions
Dependable, precise, and able to work on your own initiative
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Portfolio work with beauty, skincare, cosmetics, wellness, or prestige and luxury brands
Time spent on Amazon A+ content, listing images, or Amazon Seller Central creative
Familiarity with Shopify and e-commerce product content
History of building marketing videos meant to move sales, not just engagement
Working knowledge of further design tools such as Photoshop or Canva
Familiarity with content scheduling and publishing tools
Capacity to carry several content projects and deadlines side by side
Sharp awareness of current beauty content trends, creators, and formats
