Job summary

Acxelsus in Pasig, Philippines, is seeking a Social Media Specialist to plan, create, and manage the social media presence for a Singapore-based entertainment brand — from content strategy and calendar management to publishing and performance monitoring — to grow brand awareness and audience engagement across key platforms.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field and 2–3 years of experience, with proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, and Canva,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, agency, or business, ideally supporting an international or offshore client.
• Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn; scheduling tools Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite; Canva; basic analytics.

Responsibilities

• Plan monthly content strategies aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.
• Build and maintain a content calendar across all active platforms with on-time posting.
• Write captions and short-form copy; coordinate with designers/videographers for visuals.
• Schedule and publish content using management tools; optimize per platform.
• Track engagement and growth; prepare performance summaries and adjust content accordingly.

Job Overview

We're looking for a Social Media Specialist to plan, create, and manage the social media presence of a Singapore-based entertainment brand — from content strategy and calendar management to publishing and performance monitoring — to grow brand awareness and audience engagement across key platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Planning & Strategy: Develop monthly content plans and campaign themes aligned with the brand voice, target audience, and marketing goals.
• Social Media Calendar Management: Build and maintain a content calendar across all active platforms, ensuring consistent, on-time posting and coordinated campaign timing.
• Copywriting & Content Creation: Write engaging captions, headlines, and short-form copy, and coordinate with designers/videographers to produce supporting visual assets.
• Content Scheduling & Publishing: Schedule and publish content using social media management tools, ensuring accurate formatting, tagging, and platform-specific optimization.
• Post Execution & Performance Monitoring: Track engagement, reach, and growth metrics after publishing; prepare regular performance summaries and recommend content adjustments based on results.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience:2–3 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, agency, or business, ideally supporting an international or offshore client.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn), scheduling/management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite), and Canva; working knowledge of basic performance analytics.
• Soft Skills: Strong written English, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently against a content calendar.
• Language: Business-level English required; additional Southeast Asian languages a plus but not required.

Preferred:

• Prior experience supporting an entertainment, media, or lifestyle brand
• Experience creating short-form video content or reels for social platforms
