Team Global Facility Solutions Inc. in Makati City is seeking a dependable Snack Bar Cashier to join our hospitality team.

This full-time role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, handling transactions, and managing the POS system at our snack bar facility. Responsibilities include processing payments, greeting guests, maintaining a clean station, monitoring stock, reconciling cash, and assisting with orders when needed.

Formación

• Experience as a cashier in hospitality, food & beverage, or retail preferred.
• Strong numeracy and cash handling skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Basic food safety knowledge or willingness to train.
• Good communication in English and Filipino; additional languages a plus.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift light items.

Responsabilidades

• Process payments accurately using the POS system (cash, card, other methods).
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and greet guests.
• Maintain a clean cashier station meeting health and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of snacks, beverages, and supplies; report shortages.
• Reconcile daily cash drawers and prepare cash reports for supervisors.
• Assist with taking orders and serving customers as needed.
• Handle complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Support promotions and inform customers about offers and menu items.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations during peak and off-peak hours.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Snack Bar Cashier to join the hospitality team at Team Global Facility Solutions Inc. in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our snack bar facility. As a Snack Bar Cashier, you will be the face of our establishment, handling transactions, managing the point-of-sale system, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all our guests. This role is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the overall success of our food and beverage operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, card payments, and other payment methods
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, greeting guests and responding to their queries and requests promptly
• Maintain a clean and organised cashier station, ensuring it meets health and safety standards at all times
• Monitor inventory levels of snacks, beverages, and supplies, reporting shortages to management
• Operate the cash register, reconcile daily cash drawers, and prepare cash reports for handover to supervisors
• Assist with taking orders and serving customers when required, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards
• Handle customer complaints professionally and courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of food items
• Support promotional activities and inform customers about special offers and menu items
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient snack bar operations during peak and off-peak hours

• Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a hospitality, food and beverage, or retail environment
• Strong numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during busy periods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to commit to a full-time schedule
• Basic food safety knowledge or willingness to undertake food hygiene training
• Good communication skills in English and Filipino; additional language skills are advantageous
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items
• Honesty, integrity, and a professional attitude towards work
