Job summary

Power Integrations in Pasig, Philippines, seeks engineers with analog electronics testing experience to support SMPS development. You will work across device physics to system-level power conversion, leveraging state-of-the-art laboratories and precision test equipment.

Responsibilities include SMPS testing, EMI/Immunity assessments, and thermal evaluation, with opportunities to gain broad exposure to power electronics design and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in analog design environment testing electronic circuits.
• Knowledge of electronic and electrical schematic symbols; able to read schematics.
• Familiarity with SMPS theory and operation is advantageous.
• Electronic hobbyist background is a plus.
• Equipment calibration experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) using e-loads, variacs, AC/DC source, DVMs, DMMs, and oscilloscopes.
• Perform ATE testing.
• Assist basic power-up and debugging of SMPS boards.
• Perform EMI and Immunity testing (Surge, ESD, EFT, Ringwave, etc.).
• Perform thermal evaluation of SMPS including unit preparation.
• Assist in preparation of equipment and bench set-up.
• Write reports in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
