We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven SME Lending Division Head to lead and grow our Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) lending business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the SME lending strategy, driving loan portfolio growth, strengthening credit quality, and building a high-performing lending organization. This role will oversee the end-to-end SME lending business, from customer acquisition and credit evaluation to portfolio management and collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall SME lending strategy in line with the organization's business objectives and risk appetite.
• Drive sustainable growth in the SME loan portfolio, revenue, and profitability.
• Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and distribution channels to expand SME financing.
• Establish and monitor portfolio performance targets, including loan growth, yield, profitability, asset quality, and delinquency levels.
• Develop strong relationships with key SME clients, business associations, strategic partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop the SME lending team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and high performance.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments, and emerging risks affecting the SME lending market.
• Prepare regular portfolio, financial, and management reports and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong understanding of SME credit assessment, financial analysis, underwriting, portfolio management, and risk management.
• Proven experience in developing and executing lending strategies and delivering sustainable portfolio growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of SME customer needs and business dynamics.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with senior management.
