Job summary

Maybank in Laguna is seeking an SME Officer to market bank products, identify opportunities from referred clients, and design profitable package solutions to strengthen client relationships.

You will scout for business, conduct client visits, coordinate with supervisors and Branch Manager, and prepare accommodation reports, ensuring creditworthiness before presenting to committees. Travel to provincial areas will be frequent as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of SME accounts experience.
• Experience packaging proposals and presenting to Credit Committee.
• Proficient in Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to travel frequently to provincial areas.

Responsibilities

• Market bank products and identify business opportunities from referred clients.
• Design profitable packages to ensure optimum profitability and strengthen relationships.
• Scout for potential clients from branch referrals; perform client calls and visits.
• Conduct client visits alone or with supervisor/Branch Manager as per bank standards.
• Request and review property appraisal and/or credit investigations.
• Ensure overall creditworthiness before presenting to the approving body.
• Prepare Accommodation reports in coordination with RSCC and LAD.
• Package credit proposals per bank, BSP guidelines and regulations.
