Job summary

AboitizPower invites an experienced Smart Metering - Specialist to lead the deployment and maintenance of smart metering solutions. You will install meters, analyze data for accuracy, and ensure secure data transmission across customer sites.

You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate meters with existing infrastructure, perform testing for compliance, and train field technicians and support staff on new systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent)
• 2–3 years in smart metering, IoT, SCADA, Automation or related fields
• 1–2 years in project execution/management
• Licensed Engineer preferred; LTO Driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Sell and implement smart metering solutions and services
• Install, commission, and maintain smart meters at customer sites
• Analyze data from smart meters for accuracy and reliability
• Configure and troubleshoot communication modules for data transmission
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration
• Conduct testing to ensure regulatory compliance and safety
• Perform software/firmware upgrades on meters
• Create documentation for metering systems
• Provide training to field technicians and support teams
• Stay updated on smart metering regulations and standards
• Collaborate with sales to map customer solutions and opportunities
• Evaluate technologies (IoT, SCADA) for potential use in customers
• Visit facilities to assess feasibility of new implementations
