Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a surveyor, ideally in construction.
• Proficiency with surveying instruments and CAD software.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willing and has ability to work in various outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land and building surveys using tools such as total stations, GPS systems, and levels.
• Establish and mark site boundaries and reference points for construction activities.
• Interpret architectural and engineering plans and transfer design data to the site.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction managers to ensure survey accuracy.
• Monitor the progress of construction to ensure alignment with plans and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including maps, reports, and survey data.
• Perform topographical and as-built surveys.
• Verify elevation, alignment, and position of structures during and after construction.
• Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations related to surveying and construction.
