Job summary

Kajima Philippines Incorporated is seeking an EOHS professional to implement and oversee safety programs at project sites in the Philippines. The role involves inspections, audits, and coordinating with project teams to enforce safety standards.

The ideal candidate has COSH training and at least 3 years of site safety experience, with strong knowledge of OHS regulations and proficient MS Office skills. This position requires on-site work with collaborations across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year college course with diploma.
• Must have COSH or equivalent accredited safety training.
• At least 3 years’ work experience in project-site safety.
• Knowledge of OHS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in DOLE/DENR reporting is preferred.
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office Software.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain EOHS programs, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, EOHS audits, and safety assessments to identify hazards and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and safety personnel to ensure safety requirements are implemented.
• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and KYK/KYM discussions to educate workers on safety procedures.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions, emergency procedures, drills, evacuation plans, and first-aid measures.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of approved safety tools, equipment, and protective devices, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Complete and submit required safety reports, forms, checklists, and records on time, coordinating with government agencies.
