Job summary

OCS Philippines is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee health and safety programs and ensure compliance across project sites in Metro Manila. The role requires strong communication skills and experience implementing ISO standards.

The ideal candidate holds a four-year degree with a valid Occupational Health and Safety certificate and at least four years in a safety officer role. ISO experience is highly preferred and the position includes on-site responsibilities in Mandaluyong.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree is required.
• Valid Occupational Health and Safety certificate required.
• At least 4 years of experience as a safety officer.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experience with ISO compliance and implementation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee company-wide health and safety programs.
• Facilitate mandatory 8-hour safety training for newly hired employees.
• Conduct regular safety assessments across all project sites.
• Perform routine equipment inspections for safety compliance.
• Ensure adherence to DOLE safety regulations and requirements.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation including incident reports and investigations.
• Support department objectives and business goals through additional tasks.
• Apply ISO standards and practices in safety management and compliance.
