Job summary

EROAD Limited is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to bolster the platform team supporting its global SaaS platforms. You will manage a mix of BAU tasks and meaningful changes, driving reliability as cloud footprint consolidates.

The role involves maturing observability, security uplift work, and embedding FinOps practices. You will operate in a hands-on cloud environment with AWS as the core, plus Azure familiarity, and Kubernetes at scale (AKS/EKS).

Qualifications

• Hands-on cloud operations experience with AWS.
• Azure familiarity with hands-on experience is a plus.
• Kubernetes at scale on AKS or EKS.
• Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Concourse or similar.
• Scripting in Ruby, Bash, or Python.
• Observability/monitoring with Grafana, Sumo Logic or Datadog.
• FinOps or cloud cost-optimisation experience.
• Logical, open-minded, can-do attitude and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage steady-state BAU work and adaptive changes on the platform.
• Contribute to consolidating cloud footprint and reliability improvements.
• Advance observability maturity from monitoring to enhanced practices.
• Progress security uplift work alongside platform improvements.
• Mature cloud cost reporting and embed FinOps practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate within a multicultural team and drive ownership of impactful initiatives.
