Job summary

Unilever in Cavite is seeking a Site Packing Engineer to join the Site Engineering Team. You will lead end-to-end design and delivery of BU capex projects, providing discipline inputs across Concept, FEED and Detailed Design, and driving execution from design to handover OTIF.

The role requires 5–10 years in civil-structural design, strong project management, and proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D tools, plus solid knowledge of local codes.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in civil-structural design.
• Lead Filling/Packing design and commissioning for medium/large projects.
• Working knowledge of Thailand Engineering Standards.
• Strong project management skills.
• Cost engineering experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Working knowledge of engineering software - AutoCAD, 3D design.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead Filling, Packing and EOL design and execution for medium and large size projects.
• Collaborate with BG/BU engineer, Design Institute, and CM to develop project plans.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations and standards.
• Manage the CM consultant and construction contractors.
• Oversee construction to meet design specs and timelines.
• Ensure On Time In Full delivery with zero recordable safety incidents.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Prepare detailed reports, blueprints and documentation for approvals.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress and changes.

Job Title: Site Packing Engineer
Location: BWPC Factory, Gateway, Cavite (Onsite)

Role Purpose

This role is a member of the Site Engineering Team, responsible for the end to end design and delivery of the BU capex project. The role will be responsible for contributing designated engineering discipline expertise to enable development of the Concept, FEED & Detailed Design for projects and lead the execution.

The role will provide design inputs and execute the engineering design throughout the lifecycle of projects, and help lead the project complete execute, commission and handover projects OTIF.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Filling, Packing and EOL design and execution for medium and large size projects.
• Collaborate with BG/BU engineer, Design Institute, and CM to develop comprehensive project plans.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Manage the CM consultant and construction contractors.
• Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications and timelines.
• Ensure the project On time in full delivery, with 0 recordable safety incidents.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Prepare detailed reports, blueprints, and documentation for project approval and permits.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress and changes.

Candidate Profile

• Engineering degree with 5-10 years of experience in civil-structural design
• Lead Filling/Packing Design/Installation and Commissioning for medium/large size projects.
• Working knowledge of Thailand Engineering Standards
• Project management
• Cost Engineering
• Proficiency in MS Office – Excel/ Power Point and Word
• Working knowledge on Engineering software - AutoCAD, 3D’s.
• Good proficiency in written and spoken English
