Job summary

Unilever in General Trias, Cavite, Philippines seeks an Innovations (SUIT) Engineer to lead change management for new innovations, material transitions, and process updates. You will apply Focused Improvement, Quality, and EEM pillars to ensure end-to-end impact on safety, quality, cost, deployment, productivity, waste and logistics.

With experience in processing and packaging, you will lead project networks, mitigate risks, and ensure timely launches of products and new technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any engineering course with manufacturing focus or related technical field.
• Knowledge of quality in innovation for manufacturing including process control.
• Experience with TPM, Six Sigma, or UMS is a plus.
• Able to prepare machine/process specifications and manage project networks.
• Good understanding of materials conversion processes and BOM alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead change management for VIP programs and ensure trial execution per plan.
• Assist in drafting and monitoring CAPEX for SU projects.
• Support early equipment and product management for vertical start-up.
• Document risk assessments, batch sheets and related records.
• Ensure GMP/GHK compliance and alignment with COBP/CR&R.

With earned expertise in processing and/or packing, s/he will also lead project networks, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure products / new technology are launched on time.**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES****Change Management*** Lead and ensure execution of the VIP programs category* Ensure trials is executed based on the trial plan and provide trial report for SU-led projects* Prepare and monitor project networks for SU-led projects**CAPEX Management*** Support in drafting CAPEX for SU related projects* Monitors CAPEX progress status**Innovation Projects*** Supports early equipment management (EEM) and early product management (EPM) pillar to ensure vertical start-up of innovations and projects.* Ensure trial is executed based on the trial plan* Document keeping for all project-related document e.g. technical risk assessment, batch sheets* Ensure alignment of BOM and batch sheets/ visual guides.**Admin*** Compliance to company COBP, CR&R* Compliance to the GMP and GHK rules of the plant**Focused Improvement*** Participates in Focused Improvement activities* Executes agreed Focused Improvement actions* Raises improvement activities (OFI) and OPL* Validates results and effectiveness of Focused Improvement activities via real time observations**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED*** Graduate of **any engineering course (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical)**, or any technical course related to manufacturing.* Good knowledge of process and technology/equipment associated with an FMCG company.* Knowledge and experience in Quality in innovation for manufacturing including statistical analysis and process control, supplier assessment and capabilities, risk assessment for raw materials/ packing materials/ formulations and validation of in-house and co-making operations.* Able to prepare machine/process stream specifications and machinery project management networks.* Good understanding of the materials conversion processes.* Has specific skills in **AUTOCAD/Solid works** - which can help on the equipment re-layouts and technical design discussions.* Detailed process person who has at least basic know how on TPM, WCM, Six sigma and UMS* Amenable to work in **General Trias, Cavite**We highly encourage applicants to exclude information on age, gender, and school/s in view of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
