Job summary

Aggreko, LLC is seeking a Site Operations - Lead for a 3MW project on Dinagat Island. You will lead a Production Team to ensure continuous power by operating diesel gensets, transformers and related equipment.

You will enforce QHSE policies, manage daily shifts, and liaise with customer operations to meet load demands. You will also monitor asset performance, coordinate with maintenance, ensure accurate data, and develop your team to uphold strong site standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed electrical engineer (PRC) preferred.
• 3+ years in a power project environment or similar role.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams, P&IDs and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team on site to ensure equipment availability, reliability and performance.
• Monitor and enforce QHSE policies (LOTO, ESR, lifting, calibration, spill prevention, PPE).
• Coordinate shift planning and respond to client load demands.
• Attend customer meetings and notify Service Manager of any shortfalls.
• Analyse asset performance and drive improvements with maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production data and optimize site inventory.
• Coach and develop team members and ensure orderly site conditions.

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Site Operations - Lead for a for a 3MW project located in Dinagat Island, to lead a team that handles onsite production activities to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and performance in line with OEM recommendations, SSO and client load demands.

What you’ll do as Site Operations - Lead:

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers, and related equipment to ensure continuous power.
• Ensure all QHSE, policies and procedures are followed on sites (LOTO, ESR, Lifting, Tool Calibration, spill prevention, Technician’s PPE, …)
• Ensure proper daily assignment of Production Team as per monthly shift planning, Tight follow up on client load demands to meet the expectations
• Attend to meeting with customer operations teams, where required
• Provide advance notification to Service Manager when availability will not satisfy customer demand
• Monitor and act on site/asset alarms to support any incident resolution
• Ensure oil samples are analysed and proper actions taken by Maintenance Team where required
• Perform first line analysis on asset performance, and proper actions.
• Work closely with site team to optimise asset availability, condition, performance, and manpower allocation
• Maintain accurate production data.
• Ensure proper and optimum usage of sites inventory.
• Ensure that the site is kept in tidy conditions with strong 5S and OPOS (Optimised Project Operations Standards) implementation
• Ensure employees in his team are properly inducted and developed (coached/trained)

You are:

• Preferably PRC Electrical Engineer licensed (REE).
• Knowledgeable in Aggreko electrical equipment (transformer, switchgear, NET, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience on a Power Project environment or in a similar role
• Ability to read single line and electrical diagrams.
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and analyse Performance data
• Able to understand the operations of plant equipment’s.
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams & Outlook essential).
• Ability to work in a cohesive team.
• Strong knowledge of equipment safe operating procedures
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to withstand pressure.
• Strong Leadership skills
• Well organized, able to handle multi tasks in a controlled manner.
