Site Nurse
Generally, responsible to ensure effective and efficient implementation of Company rules and regulations, policies, program and procedures such as the following:
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate care, first aid, and emergency response for injuries or illnesses on-site.
- Administer routine health checks and ensure workers are fit for duty.
- Maintain first aid kits, medical supplies, and accurate health records for all employees.
- Conduct health and safety training on first aid, equipment handling, and emergency procedures.
- Promote good hygiene practices and health awareness to prevent workplace illnesses and injuries.
- Record and report all incidents, accidents, and treatments, and collaborate with the safety team to improve safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and assist with policy development.
- Implement wellness programs and provide mental health support for workers.
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct regular drills for accidents and evacuations.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required).
- License/Certification: Valid nursing license or registration from a recognized nursing board and OHNAP Certificate.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Nursing, Preferably in occupational health, construction, or industrial settings.
- Experience in first aid and emergency medical care.
- Skills:
- Excellent first aid and emergency care skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal Skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage emergencies effectively.
- Knowledge of occupational health standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with construction safety procedures and guidelines.
