Job summary

MOTOLITE seeks an on-site HR leader to ensure corporate HR strategies are effectively implemented at the plant level and aligned with operational needs.

You will oversee talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation, and employee relations while partnering with site leadership to drive productivity and regulatory compliance.

Willingness to be assigned on-site in Bulacan, with focus on safety, labor standards, and workforce planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology, HR, Business, or related field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in manufacturing/plant environments.
  • Experience in employee relations, recruitment, training, and HR policy implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leadership to align org structure with business objectives.
  • Forecast manpower and ensure timely sourcing for production/technical roles.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and coordinate with corporate TA for branding and standards.
  • Identify and implement training programs, including safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure fair application of compensation guidelines and manage salary movements.
  • Advise leaders on policy application, handle grievances, and ensure labor-law compliance.
  • Administer health, welfare, and benefits programs at site level.
  • Manage site administrative services, facilities, and vendor coordination.

Job Summary:

Ensures that corporate HR strategies, policies, and programs are effectively implemented at the site level, and that the unique operational needs of the plant are addressed with timely and compliant HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Organizational Planning and Design
    1.1 Partners with site leadership to align organization structure with business objectives and operational requirements.
    1.2 Reviews job roles and reporting lines to promote efficiency, role clarity, and effective collaboration.
    1.3 Recommends organization design improvements to support plant productivity and capability-building initiatives.

  2. Manpower Planning
    2.1 Collaborates with department heads to forecast short- and long-term manpower requirements.
    2.2 Analyzes business plans and operational needs to proactively address workforce gaps.
    2.3 Ensures timely sourcing and deployment of critical positions, especially for production and technical functions.

  3. Talent Acquisition
    3.1 Oversees end-to-end recruitment for site-based roles, ensuring the timely hiring of qualified candidates.
    3.2 Coordinates with Corporate TA team to align recruitment strategies, branding, and selection standards.
    3.3 Supports succession planning and internal talent movement for key site positions.

  4. Learning and Development
    4.1 Identifies training needs and recommends site-specific development programs.
    4.2 Facilitates implementation of regulatory, technical, and leadership training initiatives.
    4.3 Monitors training effectiveness and ensures compliance with statutory training requirements (e.g., safety, labor standards).

  5. Compensation and Benefits
    5.1 Ensures fair and consistent application of compensation guidelines and salary movement at the site.
    5.2 Participates in job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and implementation of rewards and recognition programs.
    5.3 Coordinates timely administration of employee benefits in accordance with company policy and government mandates.

  6. Employee Relations
    6.1 Promotes a positive and respectful work environment through employee engagement and communications.
    6.2 Advises leaders in the proper application of company policies, disciplinary procedures, and code of conduct.
    6.3 Handles employee complaints, grievances, and workplace investigations professionally and objectively.
    6.4 Ensures compliance with labor laws, including proper documentation for contractor and union-related matters if applicable.

  7. Medical and Benefits Administration
    7.1 Supports the administration of health and wellness programs, including coordination with site clinic or medical partners.
    7.2 Monitors employee benefit utilization and addresses issues related to claims, eligibility, or coverage.
    7.3 Recommends improvements in site-level benefit support based on employee needs and feedback.

  8. Administrative Support
    8.1 Oversees plant-level administrative services such as supplies management, office support, and logistics.
    8.2 Ensures that site amenities and working conditions meet health, safety, and operational standards.
    8.3 Coordinates with other support functions to address day-to-day facility needs and special events.

Qualifications:
Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field.

A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP, PHR) is an advantage.

Work Experience

Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or plant-based environment.

Proven background in employee relations, recruitment, training and development, and HR policy implementation.

Exposure to labor relations, contractor management, and compliance with DOLE regulations is preferred.

Key Competencies and Skills

Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.

Ability to partner effectively with plant leadership and operational teams.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

Analytical thinker with sound judgment and high attention to detail.

Proficient in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
