Job summary

Wei Yuan Construction Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Engineer in Tacloban City, Leyte. This full-time role oversees construction activities on-site, ensuring alignment with designs, schedules, and safety standards.

You will manage daily operations, reviews, and reporting to ensure quality delivery from start to finish. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 3–5 years of site or project engineering experience, and proficiency with CAD and construction management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
PE licence or equivalent qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily construction activities and monitor progress against schedules and budgets.
Inspect materials, equipment, and workmanship for compliance with specs and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain site records, logs, reports, and issue/change documentation.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams for smooth site operations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage site surveys and quality control testing to verify structural integrity and material specs.
Document variations and change orders with project managers and clients.
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to maintain progress.
Prepare technical reports and site documentation for management and clients.
Liaise with local authorities and environmental agencies for regulatory compliance.
