Job summary

SINOMA CBMIPH CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION is seeking a Site Engineer (MEPFS Engineer) to coordinate MEPFS works on hotel projects in Metro Manila. You will review drawings, supervise installations, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and local codes.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, license if possible, and 3+ years in MEPFS for high-rise or mixed-use buildings, with experience in testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) preferred.
• Certifications in plumbing, fire protection, or HVAC are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all MEPFS works with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines.
• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Supervise MEPFS installation to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor subcontractor progress, quality, and safety.
• Resolve site conflicts and technical issues.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultants, designers, and clients.
• Prepare RFIs, inspection requests, progress reports, and technical correspondences.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, project specifications, and authority requirements.
• Prepare punch lists and monitor close-out works.

Site Engineer (MEPFS Engineer) – Minimum Qualifications

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) is preferred.
• Additional certifications in plumbing, fire protection, or HVAC are an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in MEPFS construction.

• At least 2–3 years of experience in hotel, high-rise, commercial, or mixed-use building projects.
• Experience working for a general contractor is preferred.
• Experience in project coordination from roughing-in to testing and commissioning.

Technical Knowledge
