Job summary

UNI-TECH Philippines Industrial Machinery Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design MEPFS for residential subdivisions, mid-rise, and high-rise projects.

You will prepare plans, perform hydraulic and load calculations, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Philippine licensure (RME or Master Plumber – advantageous), 5–10 years of experience in MEPFS, and proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit BIM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer in the Philippines: RME or Master Plumber License – Advantage.
• 5–10 years of experience in MEPFS design.
• Experience in subdivision and high-rise building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit BIM, or similar engineering design software.
• Knowledge of Philippine building codes and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs, layouts, and calculations for Plumbing, Sanitary, Fire Protection, and HVAC systems.
• Design MEPFS systems for residential subdivisions, mid-rise, and high-rise developments.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, load calculations, and system sizing.
• Review, sign, and seal engineering plans and technical documents as required by regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with the National Plumbing Code, Fire Code of the Philippines, Mechanical Code, and Electrical Code where applicable.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and project teams during design development.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor design submissions.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Assist in permit applications and regulatory submissions.
