BILREY CONSTRUCTION in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Project Planning and Management lead to oversee MEPFS execution plans, schedules, and integration with civil, architectural, and structural teams.
You will monitor progress, manage budgets, ensure compliance with building codes, lead engineers and coordinators, and drive quality and safety across projects, with a focus on timely delivery and value engineering.
Develop and implement MEPFS execution plans, schedules, and project strategies.
Oversee all MEPFS activities from design review through testing and commissioning.
Monitor project progress and ensure MEPFS works are completed within approved timelines and budgets.
Coordinate MEPFS activities with civil, architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Review and evaluate MEPFS drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
Ensure compliance with the National Building Code, Fire Code, Philippine Electrical Code, Mechanical Code, Plumbing Code, and other applicable regulations.
Provide technical guidance and engineering solutions to project teams.
Resolve technical issues and recommend design improvements when necessary.
Oversee testing, inspection, commissioning, and turnover of MEPFS systems.
Supervise MEPFS Engineers, Supervisors, Coordinators, and support personnel.
Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide coaching and technical mentoring.
Conduct regular project coordination meetings and performance reviews.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.
Review project budgets related to MEPFS works.
Monitor labor productivity, equipment utilization, and material consumption.
Evaluate subcontractor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
Review progress billings, variation orders, and cost reports related to MEPFS works.
Recommend value engineering initiatives without compromising quality and safety.
Ensure all installations comply with project specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.
Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and government agencies.
Ensure timely completion of punch list items and project close-out requirements.
Implement quality control measures and corrective actions when necessary.
Promote compliance with occupational health and safety policies.
Ensure MEPFS activities comply with company safety programs and regulatory requirements.
Participate in safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and incident investigations.
Ensure all personnel follow safe work practices.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
Attend project meetings and provide updates on MEPFS progress.
Prepare technical reports, accomplishment reports, and executive presentations as required.
Support business development by providing technical input during project bidding and pre-construction activities.
Develop departmental procedures and best practices.
Monitor new technologies and recommend process improvements.
Perform other duties assigned by Management.
