Job summary

Mike Steel Construction Inc. is seeking a qualified Site Engineer to supervise daily site activities, ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and schedule, and coordinate with the project team to keep progress on track.

The ideal candidate holds a Licensed Civil Engineer credential, has 5+ years of construction/site development experience, excels in communication and problem solving, and is willing to travel and work on-site to support multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer credential required.
• 5+ years of construction or site development experience.
• Experience in site supervision and coordination with project teams.
• Knowledge of construction plans, drawings, specs, and site measurements.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and teams.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site construction activities
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedule
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and other site personnel
• Prepare daily progress reports and other required documentation
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Identify and address site issues and construction concerns
