Job Summary

The Project Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing day-to-day construction activities on-site. They ensure that the project is completed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, budget, and schedule while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and monitor work progress.
• Ensure that all work complies with approved plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections and identify construction issues or defects.
• Review drawings, plans, and technical documents before implementation.
• Monitor project schedules and recommend corrective actions for delays.
• Verify quantities of materials and monitor material deliveries and usage.
• Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing billing accomplishments, cost estimates, and project documentation.
• Coordinate permit inspections and ensure compliance with government regulations when required.
• Maintain proper documentation, including inspection reports, RFIs, site instructions, and as-built records.
• Enforce occupational health and safety standards on the construction site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred.
• Experience in construction project management and site supervision is an advantage.
• Knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, and local building codes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera) is an advantage.
