Job summary

SHIMIZU-FUJITA-TAKENAKA-EEI JOINT VENTURE is seeking a disciplined Planning Engineer / Site Coordinator for Manila projects. The role focuses on coordinating interfacing parties on site, monitoring weekly schedules, and ensuring work permits and site activities align with baseline programmes.

Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree, likely licensed, with 5 years of planning or site coordination experience, preferably on railway projects, and proficiency in Excel and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Preferably Registered/Licensed Civil Engineer.
• Strong Excel skills and basic Primavera P6 knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a planning engineer or site coordinator.
• Experience in railway projects is a plus.
• Understanding of engineering document control and progress reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with interfacing parties on site and monitor activities.
• Follow procedures to implement site coordination and report deviations.
• Monitor daily/weekly schedules and compare with baseline programme.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Site Coordination with the Interfacing parties

Follow the agreed procedure to implement site coordination with other Contractors and keep monitoring the activities on site

Participate in the Interface activities on site and report the daily tasks whether it follows the agreement made between parties to identify the responsibilities

• Daily / Weekly Schedule monitoring
• Communicate with the construction PIC and identify the site activities against the weekly schedule from the baseline programme.
• Report the deviation to the Senior and follow up the actions
• Work Permit control

Create the necessary Work Permit application by the Contractor and review the Work Permits applied by the other Contractors for implementation

• Keep monitoring the Work Permit status applied on site.

EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND CAREER

• Degree in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Preferably Registered/Licensed Civil Engineer
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Basic skill of Primavera P6
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Planning engineer or Site coordinator
• Preferably having experiences for Railway project
• Understanding of engineering document control procedures, site logging, and drafting daily physical progress reports.

KEY SKILLS

• Read and monitor the weekly schedule to identify the daily activities on site which are deviated from the schedule
• Strong verbal, written skills and active behavior to communicate with the team members to clarify the iss behind and route cause of the status to report to the Senior
