Job summary

VFL Builders is seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer to lead civil construction activities on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and timely project delivery. You will collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to coordinate workflows and resolve technical issues.

The role requires 3–5 years in civil construction or similar, with strong drawing interpretation and reporting skills. On-site work with potential extended hours is expected to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant civil construction/site engineering experience.
• PRC Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage but not required.
• Experience in site supervision, coordination, and project reporting.
• Ability to read and implement construction drawings, plans, and specs.
• Experience in site inspections and ensuring quality, safety, and progress.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and extended site hours.
• Prefer residing near the project site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction works and site activities to ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.
• Coordinate construction activities with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Monitor progress, manpower, material needs, equipment, and site resources.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, and inspection records.
• Identify technical issues and propose solutions, ensuring compliance with plans and specs.
