Job summary

Forest Lake Development, Inc. is seeking a Property Development professional to drive site sourcing, data collection, and site inspections.

The role involves coordinating with brokers and landowners, preparing contracts, and supporting negotiations with key decision-makers. Responsibilities include market research, data presentation for strategic decisions, and ensuring all property documents and permits are properly organized and maintained.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
At least 2 years in real estate, preferably land acquisition and permitting.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication with brokers, landowners and stakeholders.
Solid knowledge of real estate acquisition processes and documentation.
Strong analytical skills to generate actionable insights.
Driver’s license preferred (Restriction 1 and/or 2).

Responsibilities

Coordinate with brokers and landowners to collect property data, evaluate sites and conduct inspections.
Prepare proposals and contracts, and identify tenancy issues or tax obligations.
Provide research and insights to support negotiations with decision-makers.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and site visits for data gathering.
Secure and organize essential property documents and other legal requirements.
Prepare and process permit applications and maintain permit records.
