Awards Central Philippines Inc. is seeking a Signage Fabricator to fabricate, assemble, install and maintain signage according to designs and specs. The role requires precision, safe use of tools, and adherence to quality standards.
You will read drawings, measure and cut materials like acrylic, metal, and LED components, and work on channel letters, light boxes, and 3D signs. On-site work and client-site travel may be required.
The Signage Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of signage according to approved designs, specifications, measurements, and quality standards. The position requires technical skills, attention to detail, proper use of fabrication tools and equipment, and strict compliance with workplace safety procedures.
Read and understand approved drawings, layouts, measurements, and fabrication instructions.
Measure, cut, drill, bend, assemble, and fabricate materials such as acrylic, aluminum, metal, PVC, stainless steel, wood, and other signage materials.
Fabricate different types of signs, including channel letters, acrylic signs, LED signs, light boxes, metal signs, 3D letters, directional and identification signs, and custom promotional and corporate signage.
Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting machines, drilling machines, bending equipment, and other fabrication equipment properly and safely.
Perform welding, grinding, sanding, painting, assembly, and finishing works when required and within assigned skills.
Install LED modules, lighting components, wiring, and other electrical components when authorized and qualified to do so.
Ensure that all fabricated signs meet approved measurements, design specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
Inspect finished products for proper dimensions, alignment, finishing, cleanliness, durability, and overall appearance.
Identify and report defective materials, fabrication issues, equipment problems, or design discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.
Assist in loading, unloading, transporting, and safely handling signage and fabrication materials.
At least High School graduate; vocational or technical training in welding, fabrication, electrical work, carpentry, or a related field is an advantage.
Experience in signage fabrication, metal fabrication, welding, electrical work, or related manufacturing work is preferred.
Knowledge of basic fabrication techniques and use of hand and power tools.
Able to read basic measurements, drawings, layouts, and technical instructions.
Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and handling materials as required.
Willing to work on-site and, when necessary, travel to client locations for installation.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when required by project deadlines and company operations.
